SELF PORTRAIT

ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:
How do artists create meaning through self-portraits?
What do you want your self-portrait to say about you?
How can we create a stylized self-portrait that conveys meaning?

WHY?
Self-Portraits are an essential form of art that allows artists to express their identity. In this unit, students will be able to reflect on themes that are important to them, styles that they like, and messages that they would like to convey through their self-portrait. ​
