PRACTICE, EXPERIMENTATION, AND REVISION

LEARNING TARGET:
In this unit, students will learn how artists use practice, experimentation, and revision in their practice. They will apply this understanding by selecting one of their previous two artworks to develop further.

SUCCESS CRITERIA:
  • I am able to explain the importance of practice, experimentation, and revision when creating artwork and in other areas of life. 
  • I am able to evaluate artworks based on their application of practice, experimentation and revision.
  • I can use reflection and research to plan for the implementation of practice, experimentation and revision. 
  • I have sketched out an initial idea for my project that intentionally addresses practice, experimentation, and revision.
  • I have created an artwork that shows visual evidence of practice, experimentation, and revision.
  • I have reflected on my creative process
